Peter started his Martial Arts training in the 1970’s in Northern Shaolin Quan fa and Xing Yi Quan. He was one of the earliest senior Black belt there and was the one of the most senior certified instructor in the art.
He would later discover Pilates to rehabilitate his back injury from Spinal Disc Herniation. Pilates helped him to regain an active Martial art lifestyle and the “pain-free” transformation motivated him to share the Pilates’ benefit of improving movement, enhancing body awareness and obtaining balanced posture since 2007.
In addition to Pilates, Peter is also very passionate about stick fighting martial arts and spent many years training and teaching weapon fighting related art.
Peter is a certified Kali Coach who has decades of training and coaching experience in Kali, Arnis and Escrima.
Peter is a certified Polestar Pilates Studio Practitioner and a certified American Council on Exercise (ACE) Personal Trainer.
